Quote Section[edit]

I found this quote, "To survive being butch you have to have been born with an ornery spirit." —Jeanne Cordova (Butches, Lies and Feminism 273),ebuah.uah.es/dspace/bitstream/handle/10017/60109/chicana_gaspar_CR_2023.pdf but I'm not sure how to use it in this piece. --evrik (talk) 17:53, 6 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

6 June 2024 edits[edit]

Did someone shoot a flare gun asking people to flock to Cordova's bio? What's the reason for the sudden flurry of edits (and by vandals, too)? There have been 55 edits in the past 24 hours alone. This situation is ripe for making screwups than can go undetected. The road to hell is paved with good intentions. Pyxis Solitary (yak yak). Ol' homo. 23:06, 6 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Pyxis Solitary Cordova is the focus of today's Google Doodle, so that likely caused at least some of it. JohnLaurensAnthonyRamos333 (correct me if I'm wrong) 23:08, 6 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I don't pay attention to Google Doodle, so didn't know about it. It makes my "...road to hell..." comment apt. Pyxis Solitary (yak yak). Ol' homo. 23:15, 6 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
