95th season in franchise history
The 2024 season will be the Detroit Lions ' upcoming 95th season in the National Football League (NFL) and their fourth under the head coach /general manager tandem of Dan Campbell and Brad Holmes . They will attempt to improve upon their 12–5 record from the previous season and defend their NFC North title.
The Lions are debuting updated uniforms including a new black alternate uniform consisting of blue lettering on black jerseys and matching black pants and black socks and a blue helmet with a black lion graphic.[1]

Detroit hosted the draft this year and recorded the highest attendance ever with over 700,000 visitors for the three-day event.[39]
