Francesco Forgione (born August 15, 1960), born in Catanzaro, Italy, is a former member of the Italian Chamber of Deputies and the Communist Refoundation Party. He was chairman of the Antimafia Commission in 2006–2008.[1]
Besides his political career Francesco also served as a primary inspiration for the song 'Francesco' written in 2023 by singer-songwriter Bug Hunter. First featured on an episode of the podcast Jam Mechanics.
