Definition of “air conditioner”?[edit]
Should we nowadays simply define it as a one way air to air heat pump which only pumps heat out of a building? Chidgk1 (talk) 15:36, 22 November 2023 (UTC)
- A reversal cycle air conditioner can also pump heat into a builder (ie heats the inside). Larger air conditioning system can also dehumidify the air. Dehumidifier also common in car air conditioners when defrosting the front window. Stepho talk 20:39, 22 November 2023 (UTC)
Tell Hamoukar[edit]
The 6000 year old city of Tell Hamoukar had double walled living quarters to encourage air flow. This is the oldest known air conditioning system. I think we could rewrite the history section.
